Hyundai Avante

Hi Guys. Happy to meet you guys with an interesting about the latest cars available in the market. Hyundai Avante in India this month. The new model was launched in India earlier this year at the Delhi Auto Expo 2008. Hyundai currently has only one car in this segment and a new model shall give a face-lift to the existing product portfolio. It shall be pitted against successful sedans in India like Honda Civic, Skoda Octavia, Toyota Corolla, and Chevrolet Optra. The car comes with two airbags and fog lamp for damp weather conditions. It comes with anti-braking system for smoother and safer ride but lacks other safety features like parking sensors, traction control, EBD and ESP. The car is basically a face-lifted Elantra but still carries contemporary looks of modern day sedans. The grille design may disappoint you a little and the bumper would have looked good with more chiselled look. Hyundai Genesis

Hi Guys. Happy to meet you guys with an interesting about the latest cars available in the market. The Genesis seats five and is offered with V6 or V8 engines. Hyundai is best known here for the econoboxes it sold when it first came to America, but the Korean automaker has been moving upmarket for several years. The Genesis represents its biggest leap yet and is the company's most expensive and most luxurious car. The Genesis marks the debut of Hyundai's first V8, a 4.6-liter dual overhead cam engine with 375 horsepower. The V8 provides plenty of smooth, willing power and gets decent fuel economy. Also available is a 290-hp 3.8-liter V6. The 2009 Hyundai Genesis is offered in two models. The 3.8 model has a 3.8-liter V6 that makes 290 horsepower and comes with a six-speed automatic transmission. The 4.6 model has Hyundai's new 4.6-liter Tau V8. It puts out 375 hp (with premium fuel, 368 with regular fuel) and also comes with a six-speed automatic. Both transmissions have a manual shiftgate. Hyundai says it benchmarked the BMW 5 Series, Infiniti M, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, and Lexus GS when developing the Genesis. Advanced five-link front and rear suspensions and a rigid rear-drive unibody structure give the Genesis the engineering to compete with those cars.

Hyundai Veracruz

Hi Guys. Happy to meet you guys with an interesting about the latest cars available in the market. Hyundai's compact SUV, the Santa Fe, rivals mid-size SUVs from established manufacturers, the Hyundai Veracruz meets them head-on. Its powertrain goes toe-to-toe with the competition, primarily the Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, and Subaru Tribeca. Veracruz is put together with care, too. Gaps between body panels, while not Lexus or BMW grade, are close and consistent. Interior trim materials feel as good as they look, and they look very good. The 2008 Hyundai Veracruz is a seven-passenger crossover that comes with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive (AWD). The sole engine is a 260-hp V6, the transmission a six-speed automatic with a semi-manual shifting feature called Shiftronic. The interior of the Hyundai Veracruz is as cleanly styled and executed as the package in which it's wrapped. Materials speak of quality in looks and touch. Gaps are tight and consistent. Seats are comfortable and meet our basic standard of adequate, if not superior thigh support. The standard multi-adjustable driver's seat (with height and lumbar adjustments) and tilt-and-telescope steering wheel provided comfortable driving positions for drivers 6-feet tall and just 5-foot 4. Side and bottom bolsters suffice for spirited driving.
  • Fuel Economy Range: 23 mpg Hwy, 16 mpg City
  • Basic Warranty: 60 months/60,000 miles
  • Seating capacity: 7
